Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions form the basis of the contract between Buzzard Chris Bushcraft and you and cannot be changed, unless in writing by Buzzard Chris Bushcraft.
Cancellation When a customer instructs Buzzard Chris Bushcraft to cancel a booked date an alternative date will be offered/agreed with the customer. An agreed date must fall within 4 weeks (28 days) following the initial cancelled date. If no alternative date can be agreed or a customer fails to turn up without previously cancelling, then the full cost of the course will be forfeited. The customer acknowledges that it is reasonable for such penalties to arise given the nature of a small business, preparation involved prior to bookings and the likelihood of financial loss from other bookings as a consequence of cancellation. Buzzard Chris Bushcraft will only cancel a course when conditions deem it unsafe for clients. In this case if an alternative date is not possible, then a full refund will be made to the customer.
Insurance & Liability Buzzard Chris Bushcraft has £5,000,000 of Public Liability Insurance with a reputable insurer. Courses are delivered in woodland in all weather conditions and these environments are never completely free of risks. Buzzard Chris Bushcraft constantly assesses all areas used for bushcraft activity for risks and will not be held liable for accidents, mishaps or losses that are not a result of negligence on the part of Buzzard Chris Bushcraft or due to failure to follow instructions by the Instructors. Buzzard Chris Bushcraft will not be responsible for any accidents or mishaps occurring to third parties taught by you. It is advisable for customers to take out their own insurance to cover any damage to personal property, cancellation, losses and injuries to which Buzzard Chris Bushcraft is not liable.
Behaviour & Safety of Participants Buzzard Chris Bushcraft reserves the right to remove any person/s (without refund) who does not follow behavioural guidelines. It is unacceptable to use abusive, aggressive behaviour of any kind and acting in a way that jeopardises the enjoyment, safety or well being of other participants, themselves or members of staff. Clients must comply with all reasonable instructions and directions from the instructors.
Photography Buzzard Chris Bushcraft will often take photographs for advertising reasons but only with prior permission by signature. This can be arranged before or during the course date depending on the group or individuals attending.
Complaints Any complaints should be dealt with an instructor during the course. If a customer has a complaint after the course, it must be put in writing within 14 days of the course ending. Buzzard Chris Bushcraft will not be liable for any complaints received after 14 days of the course ending.
